[KROQ This Week] OC Music Awards Finals, Locals Only Show At The Slidebar, Bear Mountain, And More

As February comes to a close, so do the 2014 OC Music Awards. We’ll be checking out the finals Tuesday night at The Observatory in Santa Ana.

We’ll be back in the OC Thursday for a KROQ Locals Only Show at The Slidebar in Fullerton featuring FMLYBND, The Chain Gang Of 1974, and Wasi!

Then to cap off the week, we’ll be heading up to Bear Mountain on Sunday. Come join us!

Costa Mesa: We can’t believe how quickly this year is already flying by! March is around the corner, which means April is approaching and then Coachella, we can’t keep up! In order to restore some zen–like vibes back into our lives, we will be visiting some local parks in Costa Mesa and maybe do a little yoga. We’ve mastered the art of sitting and closing our eyes for a long period of time.

Santa Ana: OC Music Awards Showcase Series Finals is today. These past few weeks bands have been rockin’ their hearts out to be showcased for this final moment and ultimately inch closer into the OC Music Awards spotlight! Tonight’s event will be at The Observatory (3503 S. Harbor Blvd. Santa ana, 92704) Show starts at 7:30pm. See you crazy kids there.

Irvine: Have you heard that the leader of our free world may be coming to the University Of Irvine to give the school’s 2014 commencement address? No confirmation has been set for such an unusual request, but we thought we may pay to the visit to the school anyways. Perhaps we will feel inspired to enroll in school again and gorge on Ramen Noodles.

Long Beach: We are in need of an energy boost so we’ll skip on the wheat grass shot and head straight to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®! From 1pm to 3pm we will be hanging out at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® (Ximeno Ave, #101 Long Beach, CA 90814) handing out tickets to our super fans who will answer a round of KROQ questions. Finalists will qualify for a pair of tickets to our KROQ Storms Bear Mountain on Sunday March 9th. It’s pretty much a win-win situation, coffee, free tickets, and us!

Fullerton: We are back at Slidebar for our KROQ Locals Only show! Join the KROQ Crew to catch performances by FMLYBND, The Chain Gang Of 1974, and Wasi! This 21+ over show is free! Studio City: We can’t get enough of our favorite pick me up drink,winter dream latte with soy, from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, so we are back to hang out for a few hours! Lake Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101). We aren’t coming empty handed; we will have tickets for our KROQ Storms Bear Mountain. This is your last chance to win tickets.
