[KROQ This Week] ‘Good Times’ Blackjack Tournament, OC Music Awards, KROQ Storms Bear Mountain, And More

Kevin, Ralph Garman, Beer Mug, and Dave the King of Mexico from the Kevin & Bean Show head out Friday to Morongo Casino Resort & Spa to compete in the 2nd Annual KROQ ‘Good Times’ Blackjack tournament. (If you’re reading this on Monday, there’s still time to enter!) And if you’re one of the lucky few to win a seat at the table, remember, always double down on 11.

Redondo Beach: We are focused to get back on track to some type of healthy regimen. Every week we promise ourselves that today is the time for change but then we drive past a tasty taco stand or burger joint and we temporarily lose focus, but not this time! Join the KROQ Crew in Redondo Beach where we will begin the start of our sticker hit. We plan on doing some light exercise followed by running after the ice cream man.  

Sherman Oaks: The 405 won’t hold us down, so we’re driving north to Sherman Oaks to wreck some retail havoc. Maybe we’ll stop by your work! Send us a message on Facebook or Instagram and let us know why we should pop in during your lunch break and say hello! We are friendly folks so we might even hook it up with some stickers and t-shirts!

Los Angeles: There is no better way to spend our eight hour work day than driving around the City of Los Angeles.  We don’t just want to see the city sights from red light to red light. We will begin our journey near LA Live then drive our way around towards famous hot spots where the movie 500 Days of Summer was filmed, more specifically the infamous bench that brought together and destroyed the love of the two characters. All we need is our very own version of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and we are set!

Northridge: A couple of the folks at KROQ went to school around this area, so we are planning to take our sticker hit over to Northridge! We’ll be checking out the sights, sounds, and ambiance of what this city has to offer. Bring it on! Tweet us some suggestions.

Bear Mountain:  Bear Mountain we are back with a kick and some sweet KROQ gear.  We’ve had blast spending our weekends in the snow and playing some of your favorite KROQ music.  We can’t wait for Sunday when we end our Bear Mountain residency with a bang with our annual ‘KROQ Storms Bear Mountain’ party.  Be sure to stop by our tent for details, and if you’ve already scored your way into the festivities, just make sure to bring your dancing snow boots!

Anaheim:  Award season is not over yet! The KROQ Promo Crew will be at the City National Grove of Anaheim to host the conclusion of this year’s OC Music Awards extravaganza.  We’ve had a blast with the OC Music Awards and all of its sponsors. Join us and the rest of the artists as we anticipate who will take some of the night’s prestigious awards.

Big Bear: We’re taking over the slopes again as KROQ Storms Bear Mountain, and this time we’re bringing Kongos, Bad Suns and our own DJ Jeremiah Red along to provide the entertainment! If you were able to win tickets, then we can’t wait to see you! What a perfect way to end an eventful weekend than soaking in some live music, snow, and sun.  We will see you at the bunny slopes, we mean– we’ll see you at the most daring, bold, most challenging slope.
